当サイトは英語の諺の意味や由来を紹介していくサイトです。英語が好き、または英語圏で使われている諺に興味がある人達
に少しでも見てもらえたらなと思って作りました。
私が個人的に持っていた本Marvin Terban氏が書いた「Dictionary of Idioms」に
のっている諺を意訳したものです。Amazonでも取り扱われているので、興味のある方はそちらも手に取っていただけたらと思っています。
